PETER ENGEL

Peter Engel has over 20 years of experience as a marketing communications professional. His background includes public relations, advertising, sales and business development, project management, internal and external communications, consulting and journalism. Industries where Peter has worked include: automotive, business-to-business, consumer marketing, education, financial services, healthcare, media, real estate and technology.

Peter began his career as an editor at trade publications Contract Design and Sporting Goods Business. He has worked for the integrated marketing firms Posner Advertising and Earle Palmer Brown, public relations agencies Stanton Crenshaw Communications, Edelman Worldwide and Lobsenz-Stevens (now Manning, Selvage & Lee) and multicultural firm Viva Communications. Peter's clients have included Baruch College/CUNY, MetLife, Mitsubishi Motor Sales of America, Pitney Bowes, Real Estate Board of New York, RE/MAX International and Sharp Electronics. Peter's sales consulting skills were developed at broadcast/Internet news distributor Medialink Worldwide, where he built new revenue streams, brought in new clients and helped introduce new products and services. Peter supervised project management and distribution for consumer product launches, FDA approvals, mergers, global events, and crisis communications for such clients as Burson Marstellar, Campbell Soup, Conde Nast, Merck, Ogilvy Public Relations, Reckitt Benckiser, Subaru and Time Warner.
